Make-A-Wish Mississippi

Make-A-Wish Mississippi is an organization with a 40 year legacy of creating space for the hopes and dreams of children with critical illnesses. A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energtic, more willing and able to battle their critical illness. For many of them, it marks a turning point in their fight.
 
Chae and the Carter's Team are participating in the 3rd Annual W.I.S.H. (Women Inspiring Strength and Hope) Society of Hattiesburg, along with 25 other outstanding women in the community with a goal of raising over $100,000 for Make-A-Wish!

The Pinebelt Foundation

In 1997 a group of young leaders created the Community Foundation to support the Pinebelt's charites, as a way to connect them to donors. Since that time the Pinebelt Foundation has grown to over 180 funds and has distributed more than $25,000,000 throughout the Pine Belt.
 
Join the Carter's Team April 6th for the Hattiesburg Half Marathon supporting seven phenomenal charities: The Arc Southeast Mississippi, The Children’s Center for Communication and Development at The University of Southern Mississippi, Domestic Abuse Family Shelter, DuBard School for Language Disorders at The University of Southern Mississippi, Family YMCA of Southeast Mississippi, Kuntry Kidz Youth Foundation, and Southern Pines Animal Shelter.

Carter's Collective Scholarship
The University of Southern Mississippi

One of our initiatives as the Official Jeweler of Southern Miss, Carter's Collective provides a $2,500 scholarship each year to a female student in business or marketing in the hopes to nurture her entrepreneurial spirit and continue her formal education.
 
As a multi-generational, women-owned small business with a team of women, we feel passionately about being able to give back to our University & help young women further their careers & education.

Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center

Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center is an accredited member of
the National Children's Alliance, Working to streamline the process of finding effective solutions for child abuse victims and their non-offending caregivers, the only organization of its kind in the Pinebelt.
 
We look forward to contributing to the annual Denim & Diamonds fundraising event, and in 2023 Carter's was one of the local businesses helping them raise over $46,000!

The Petal Children’s Task Force is an emergency food bank offering food assistance to less fortunate families within the Petal School District.
 
Carter's is an annual sponsor of the Lighthouse Dash 5k and regularly holds food drives for the Task Force.

Pinebelt Chapter of the American Heart Association

Most recently, Carter's participated in the "Art for Heart" event, a showcase blending artistry and philanthropy in an effort to raise funds for cardiovascular research and education. Carter's contributed to the auction and personally presented a custom, handmade heart shaped medallion to the Woman of Impact who raised the most for the cause in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Thanks to these wonderful women, over $180,000 was raised in total!

Innova Preparatory School

Innova Preparatory School provides a co-educational learning environment that balances gifted education with remedial education while integrating social, emotional and behavioral support for the elementary, middle or high school student who may not fully express personal gifts and talents because of a specific learning disability or related health impairment.

Children's Center for
Communication and Development

The Children's Center provides cost-free, innovative therapies for children under 5 with disabilities while supporting and training their families. As a result, these children and their families have the skills, resources, and confidence needed to face everyday life and build the foundation for a brighter future.
 
For their 2023 Run for the Roses event, Carter's was honored to donate engraved mint julep cups & champagne flutes to show our support! Each item was individually engraved in-house by our skilled jewelers.

Partners for the Arts

Partners for the Arts directly impacts the students and faculty in the arts at Southern Miss. Through contributions, Partners continues the tradition of excellence in the arts at Southern Miss.
 
Most recently, Carter's participated in the "Diamond Affair Gala" to celebrate the organization's 25th year. Carter's presented a diamond pendant and men's ring to the lord and lady who raised the most for the cause in 2022. Thanks to these wonderful men & women, over $36,800 was raised in total!

The Dubard School for Language Disorders

The DuBard School for Language Disorders is a public school providing services for students with severe language-speech disorders, hearing impairments, and dyslexia on University of Southern Miss' campus. The program's goal is to equip students with the tools necessary to reintegrate into traditional school enviornments and provide services at no cost to the students and their families.
 
Most recently, Carter's participated in the 2019 "DuBard School Speakeasy" donating a stunning art deco ring for raffle.

The Pink Ribbon Fund

The Pink Ribbon Fund provides financial assistance to Pine Belt residents for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, as well as assistance with quality of life needs related to breast cancer.
 
Most recently, Carter's participated in the 2019 "You, Me and a Cup of Tea" event as a presenting sponsor and donated a beautiful Morganite set to the organization for raffle!

The Georgia English Bulldog Rescue

The Georgia English Bulldog Rescue's mission is to first ensure the safety and well-being of all English and French Bulldogs in their care and to educate the public in the care of English and French Bulldogs. The Rescue rehabilitates and re-homes English and French Bulldogs that are sick, neglected, abused, or injured.
 
Most recently, Carter's participated in the 2023 Bully Ball. The Bully Ball has raised more than $1,730,000 to help care for & rescue over 1000 neglected English Bulldogs in the Southeast.
