Meet Chae

Chae Carter Wooton didn't just inherit a jewelry store, she inherited a legacy. She started working alongside her mother in 2008, a fresh faced 21 year old learning the ropes and falling hard for jewelry, business, and marketing along the way. By 2014, she'd bought Carter's Collective outright, and has spent every year since proving she's not just a second generation owner, she's a marketer with a jewelry store, not a jeweler trying to market. Under her lead, Carter's Collective has grown from a small town shop into the South's destination for fine and bridal jewelry, built on mindset, grit, and a whole lot of heart.

Chae Through The Years

"I was 21 when I started working alongside my mom, and I had no idea what I was signing up for. I just knew I loved it, the jewelry, the people, the chaos of it all. By the time I bought the business in 2014, I wasn't just running a store, I was building a life around something I truly loved.

That's still true today. We're all just real people out here trying to do stuff, figuring it out as we go, and building something we're proud of, one day at a time."
